Save the Date for 2025 Turtle Fest: A Joint Celebration

of Conservation!

We are excited to announce that the Volusia & Flagler Turtle Patrols will host our annual Turtle Fest on April 5, 2025. This year marks the first time our two organizations are joining forces to bring you a larger, more exciting event, all in support of sea turtle conservation and protection efforts along our beautiful coastlines.

Turtle Fest is the primary fundraising event for both the Volusia and Flagler Turtle Patrols, and it promises to be a day of family-friendly fun, entertainment, and education. We’ll have a wide range of activities for all ages, including face painting, turtle races, and live music to keep you dancing and smiling throughout the day. You can browse through an eclectic mix of vendors, local artists, and crafters offering unique goods, as well as enjoy delicious food and beverages available for purchase.

As part of the event, we hope to witness the thrilling release of a sea turtle from rehabilitation back into the wild on the beach, happening mid-afternoon, if conditions allow. This heartwarming moment is one of the highlights of the festival, showing firsthand the positive impact of our conservation efforts.

In addition to the fun, there will be valuable educational exhibits from partners such as Gamble Rogers State Park, the Marine Science Center, and other local environmental organizations. These exhibits will offer a wealth of information about sea turtle conservation, habitat protection, and the ongoing work of the Turtle Patrols. You’ll also find opportunities to learn more about volunteer programs, adopt a turtle nest, and purchase Turtle Fest t-shirts and other exclusive turtle-themed merchandise, with all proceeds benefiting the vital work of the Turtle Patrols.

Mark your calendars for April 5th, and join us for this exciting day of celebration, learning, and giving back to our local sea turtles. We look forward to seeing you there as we come together to support one of the most beloved creatures of our coastline!
